Dear WILD, This is Linda Orlando. I am humbled by the words you have written in this blog. Thank you all for being there and listening! I am even more proud of being a GCU grad, after meeting all of you and understanding more about the WILD program. You all serve as wonderful role models for the school. I appreciate you all taking the time to be present at the chat, especially those of you who had to run off to 7:00pm classes. Be strong, Be Diligent with your studies, and have fun while still at GCU. Time passes quickly, so enjoy the moments!
Just an annotation to the blog referencing how “main drive was to make sure that she was going to make money” the goal was I wanted to be self-sufficient given all my parents had done for me.

I love it, I remember everything like it was yesterday. I am so grateful to have been apart of W.I.L.D although it took me to years, but it’s better to be late then to never try. I appreciate all W.I.L.D has to offer to us young women and thank Karen for founding it.

What a wonderful weekend that was! I hope to do it again someday. Yes the speaker was wonderful. I spoke to Mrs. Bennett from EOF about doing the activity with the girls over the summer. It gives you an amazing way to look at your life and see where you are and what you have accomplished.
